As a student who comes from one of these schools, I can see the effect it has on students' abilities to expand their knowledge and skill set. This is not only unfair but in a way damaging for students because this protrays the student less qualified compared to other students from richer schools in college applications and job opportunities

The problems lay within the community itself. Without the proper funds, schools end up with poorer quality in education,
overworked teachers, and no resources for students to further engage their learning. Especially in the pandemic situation we face now,
funds for laptops, wifi networks, among other things are needed for students who can't afford to buy them.

Potential solutions for these problems include: petition to redistribute the funds avaliable to make more resources for student, petition for equal funding for public schools, student-led initiatives to raise money for extracurriculars and basic necessaties, sponsorships from companies, pathways/network that students have access to for internships/summer programs, etc.
